Letourneur Conseil > Notaries

Faced with environmental risks, constantly evolving legislation and the financial stakes involved, our consultancy firm specializing in polluted sites and soils is assisting an increasing number of notaries.

By its very nature, the state of the soil can present an environmental risk that is more or less well understood at the time of a sale or acquisition. The notion of potentially polluted site,ICPE, rehabilitation and restoration, or compatibility with future use, requires a mastery of technical and regulatory issues that the engineering and design department will be able to handle alongside the notary's office.

With regard to the construction project (destination and use), and through management tools (historical and documentary studies, diagnostics, sanitary risk assessment, management plan, etc.), the SSP design office will support the vendor, purchaser or developer. The notary who draws up the deed of sale or transfer of a potentially polluted site can rely on the skills of our LNE-certified engineering firm in terms of study costs, clean-up or health risks in relation to the value of the land on site.

The seller's liability, but also that of the notary, may be engaged. The expertise of an LNE-certified SSP engineering firm means that the results of investigations, the conclusions of environmental reports and the related consequences can be transcribed into deeds.
