Letourneur Conseil > Analysis of residual risks

THE "ARR

(Mission "A320" according to standard NFX 31-620-2 of December 2021)

A Residual Risk Analysis (RRA) is a Health Risk Assessment (HRA) carried out on the basis of residual concentrations and exposures identified following site remediation work.

As part of a Management Plan (GP), a Residual Risk Analysis (RRA) is used to validate, by means of a health risk assessment, the method(s) chosen to treat the pollution, by demonstrating the acceptability of the risks associated with residual exposure. In this case, the residual risk analysis is carried out in a predictive manner, as residual exposure levels can only be determined following modelling: this is a predictive residual risk analysis (predictive RRA).

A residual risk analysis can also be carried out directly following management control measures, particularly in cases where residual concentrations differ from estimates made as part of the management plan.
